Quillaja Honey from Chile
An intrepid sailor brought dozens of Italian honeybees to Chile in the mid-1800s, but only two hives survived the journey, establishing themselves in Penaflor, near the capital. The tree has thick, dark bark, smooth, leathery, shiny, oval evergreen leaves 3-5 cm long, white flowers 15 mm borne in dense corymbs, and a dry fruit with five follicles each containing 10-20 seeds.Quillay honey has a dark amber colour and a soft texture. It has a nuttily and floral bouquet. It is often recommended for allergies and digestive problems, and it is high in antioxidants.

Rape honey starts blooming in April. The rape plant is an oleaginous plant, a member of the mustard family, with a vast spreading area.
